Winners of Yorkshire’s most prestigious awards received their awards at a spectacular Gala Dinner held in The Queens Hotel, Leeds on 7th March 2025.

The annual event honoured those who have ‘made Yorkshire proud’ with their achievements or contributions to life in Yorkshire. Sadlly, due to illness, Marco Pierre White had to cancel his trip back to home town, Leeds, to collect his award but the Head Chef of The Queens Hotel stepped in to collect it for him.

Lindsey Burrow was a special guest and unvelied the Brothers in Arms portrait painting commissioned by The Yorkshire Society. The No. 7 print from a limited edition of the portrait was auctioned to raise funds the event’s nominated charity this year – Leeds Hospitals Charity – and sold for £1200 which will go, together all the other money raised on the night, towards the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease.
