The Yorkshire Society is pleased to reveal its new logo for the Yorkshire History Prize.

With plans in hand to develop the Society’s Yorkshire History Prize, a new logo for the original research and essay competition has been created.

The competition, organised in collaboration with University of Huddesfield and now in its 32nd year, is currently aimed at academics and post graduates.

“The History Prize is an important part of the Society’s make-up” said Philip Bell, CEO, adding “Giving the competition the recognition it deserves, in keeping with its significance, is the reason for it having its own identity and this will help us to promote it”.

Prize giving for the winners of the 2018 competition will be held on 3rd April 2019 at the University, where details of the competition’s development – to broaden its appeal and increase the number of entrants – will also be announced. Details here.
