Joining forces for Yorkshire

The Yorkshire Society believes in strategic partnerships and so we work closely with our corporate members on this basis, making us distinctly different to other membership organisations who tend to require corporate members to fit them, rather than the other way round.

We also like to work with other large or regional organisations, commercial and non-commercial, who share our values and a common goal on issues related to Yorkshire, such as its  economy, history, heritage or social cohesion, currently including:

RFCA Yorkshire who work to ensure the reserve forces and cadets thrive across our region and supervise the Armed Forces Covenant across the region. The Yorkshire Society is a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and works with RFCA to promote it.

Leeds Beckett University that provides a high quality education and intense learning experience to local and international students. It is known for its multicultural and inclusive environment. The Yorkshire Society operates a student Yorkshire Society within the University.

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust which is a charity established iin 1946 that is dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring wildlife and wild places in Yorkshire, and Yorkshire and Humber association of Civic Societies (YHACS), the body that represents Civic Societies across the region, work with The Yorkshire Society to support our Yorkshire Heritage Guardians network.
