The Chantry Chapel of St Mary the Virgin was built in the mid 14th century when the stone bridge replaced a wooden one. It is one of only three surviving bridge chapels in England and, with the bridge, is a scheduled ancient monument and a Grade I listed building.
Our chef for the evening is Chris Hale, a Master Chef Professional semi-finalist, who now owns Pop Up North, a company which specialises in providing bespoke dining in unusual venues. Chris is also the chef for The Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield.
The evening will begin at 7.00 pm with a welcome drink and canapés, followed at 7.30 by a four course Yorkshire themed dinner. Each course will be complemented by a carefully selected wine.
