Northern Racing College (NRC) provides a responsive centre of training excellence within the north, identifying, encouraging and nurturing talent, particularly within young people.
AN EXCLUSIVE SOCIETY VISIT:
The Northern Racing College is one of only two facilities in the country who train people to work in the horse racing industry. They train around 500 people a year across a wide range of disciplines from initial training of stable staff and riders through to transport drivers, racing secretaries, jockey licensing and, at the very top of the tree, trainer’s modules. Many of the students are on residential courses at the College which operates 24 hour a day, 365 days a year.
