By ‘eck! Bradford and Ilkley will host Yorkshire Day in 2025
The Yorkshire Day Civic Celebration is a magnificent event attended by Mayors from across Yorkshire, VIPs, special guests and members of The Yorkshire Society. It is, we believe, the largest such gathering of Mayors in the world.
The event constitutes a number of component parts: Breakfast, Street Parade, Thanksgiving Service and formal Civic Lunch.
Unless you are officially invited by City of Bradford or Ikley Town councils, you can only attend this event if you are a paid up member of The Yorkshire Society.
ITINERARY
8.00 – 9.20 Breakfast at Bradfordt City Hall and official photos
9.00 – 10.30 Travel by bus to lkley
10.30 – 11.00 Parade to Church
11.00 – 12.00 Thanksgiving Service
12.00 – 12.30 Parade from Church to Winter Gardens
12.30 – 2.30 Civic Lunch
Lunch will be accompanied with formal speeches and entertainment. Return transport back to Bradford will be provided.
