If you want to join us for business reasons, please go to corporate membership.

Individual membership of The Yorkshire Society is open to everyone, whoever they are and wherever they are. You simply need to love Yorkshire and agree to abide by a few simple terms and conditions, as set out below.

You only have to pay once – our individual membership is for life so there are no annual fees.

Friend for Life membership gives you advantages and benefits, and we’ll send you a welcome pack with enamal membership badge, certificate of membership and other goodies available from time to time.

Please note, Friend for Life membership is for private individuals only and you will need a personal email (not work email) to register. If you are a sole trader, working freelancer or individual wanting to join for business reasons, please use corporate membership to join us.

Membership rights and privileges

As a paid-up member of The Yorkshire Society, you are entitled to the benefits of membership, relevant to your type of membership, as published on our website. Member benefits are subject to change without notice.

Obligations of members

Members are obliged to inform The Yorkshire Society of any change in contact details. Members are required to respect the reputation of The Yorkshire Society and not do anything to damage it.

Fees and payments

Members are required to pay any relevant membership fee when due. Failure to pay may result in the cancellation of membership and withdrawal of benefits.

Termination of membership

The Yorkshire Society reserves the right to terminate any membership without prior notice or explanation. Members may terminate their membership at any time by writing to The Yorkshire Society using email or post.

Liability

The Yorkshire Society takes no responsibility for any loss incurred by a member as a result of their membership.

Governing law

Any legal action related to these terms and conditions will be under English law.
