COMING SOON TO
YORKSHIRE
The Yorkshire Society Foundation is being created by The Yorkshire Society so it can provide financial help to not-for-profit, charity and voluntary organisations that promote and protect any aspect of Yorkshire’s heritage or that help and support disadvantaged people and communities anywhere in Yorkshire.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM?
The Yorkshire Society donates to the Foundation part of every new membership fee and funds raised through its activities, providing the Society, through the Foundation, with a means of giving something back to Yorkshire.
WHO DOES THE FOUNDATION HELP?
Not for profit organisations, charities and social enterprises concerned with the education, promotion or protection of any aspect of Yorkshire’s culture or heritage and needing financial help are welcome to apply for a grant to help support their work or a specific project.
