Yorkshire Racing has a long history and the region boasts a number of famous and beautiful courses.

From ancient traditions and early race meetings to modern festivals that attract thousands of visitors, the sport has developed into one of the region’s most recognisable and enduring pastimes.  You can read more about that HERE.

The Yorkshire Society has close connections with the racing industry in the region, with many corporate and individual members either working in it, or keen on it.

Racing is a compelling sport enjoyed by thousands across the year, and we want to help those enthusiasts to get more out of it. We also want more people to discover it and the many pleasures that can be derived from it, other than betting of course.

YORKSHIRE RACING FAN CLUB – FREE TO JOIN!

With the help of the Society’s resident racing experts, and the support of relevant corporate members, we have created a FREE TO JOIN fan club within the Society for those wanting to discover racing or get more out of racing.

Everyone is welcome, from a complete novice to an informed expert, and everyone will find something for themselves in the fan club.

The club will provide its members with insight and information about racing in general, and races themselves. It will organise events and social activities for members to enjoy and special offers for them to benefit from, too, creating a community of like-minded people with a common interest.

SUPPORTING YORKSHIRE RACING

The Fan Club will also be a help to the racing industry in Yorkshire and will endeavour to encourage more people to attend racing at the nine Yorkshire Racecourses.

Additionally, it will support the extended racing industry; the many trainers, stables, retailers and hospitality that rely on revenues from racing.
