It was early to work today (20th February 2019) for Society Deputy Chair, Geoff Walsh who was visiting the new BBC Radio Leeds studio, in the BBC Yorkshire building in Leeds.
Geoff was there to be interviewed on the Richard Stead breakfast show, and he took the opportunity to talk about the great local groups that get things done around the County, about our (the Society’s) love of Yorkshire and to pass on to listeners news about the Society and what we do – Yorkshire Business Market, History Awards, our civic Yorkshire Day at Whitby and our involvement in the Yorkshire Awards.
Geoff also took the opportunity to call for people who wish to help the Society as it continues to move forward.
We hope to get a recording of the interview and will post it here when we do. In the meantime, you can hopefully find it on BBC iPlayer or Sounds app.
