Supported by the Hull University Business School (HUBS) , The Yorkshire Society, One Yorkshire Committee and Stratton Park Associates, the aim of the conference is to bring together people from across the region and beyond to discuss a variety of topics:

  • How do we define Yorkshire identity and the sense of Yorkshireness?
  • How important are cultural elements when defining Yorkshire?
  • What are the strengths of the Yorkshire brand?
  • How do we combine Yorkshire’s important heritage with economic modernisation?

There will be a wide range of speakers from businesses, universities and other organisations as well as an ability for others to connect and contribute in the discussion of these ideas. With an intricate background of the Government’s devolution plans and its levelling up agenda, the COVID pandemic and Brexit, it is important we can plot a path that is one that can get the best for Yorkshire, its economy, environment and most importantly its people.
