Volunteer and help The Yorkshire Society

The Yorkshire Society is a not-for-profit community of ordinary people who love Yorkshire, working together to do extraordinary things for God’s own Country, and we have big plans for the future.

The Society is managed by members and volunteers, without whose help we could not exist and we are always on the look-out for new volunteers who have some time to invest in helping us help Yorkshire.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We need people with the time and talent to:

• Help manage the Society.
• Help organise events.
• Help promote the Society.
• Help expand our networks.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

If you are not already a member of the Society you may be gifted Friend for Life membership and the benefits that come with it.

There is no payment but we do try to cover any expenses.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

Depending on what volunteers want to do for the Society, and what time they have available, you may be required to attend our committee meetings or be able to work from home at your own pace.

Volunteers are under no obligation but are asked not to take on responsibilities or tasks they cannot deliver.
